Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the actual problem of formation of professionally-mathematical competence of future engineers-teachers in the process of professional training. The analysis of educational theory and practice of training engineer-educators has been executed, the features of the training of engineer-educators have been considered; categories of "competence" and "professional competence" have been concretized, content and structure of the professionally-mathematical competence of future engineer-educators based on the study and analysis of the scientific and educational literature have been determined; the criteria and indicators of measuring level of formation of professionally-mathematical competence of future engineer-educators have been substantiated, the items and developed model of the formation of professionally-mathematical competence of future engineer-educators have been determined; pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of professionally-mathematical competence of future engineer-educators have been experimentally tested in the process of professional training.
