The dissertation is dedicated to research of women's daily life processes of Volyn province's taxed estates in the end ХVIII of century - 70s of ХІХ of century. The function of female population in class-economic structure of towns of Volyn province has been determined. Tendencies of women's communication, their public and professional activities in the context of urban environment of Volyn province have been studied. Branches of economic life, related to labour of petty women-bourgeois, have been defined. Ascending mobility of women of the taxed states in the case of transition from one state to another has been traced.
