Object of research - the violation of the mineral exchange in cows. The purpose of the work is to study the informativeness of markers of bone tissue metabolism in blood serum and urine of cows for the diagnosis of subclinical flow osteodystrophies and test the therapeutic efficacy of the application of chelate compounds of microelements in pathology. Research methods : clinical, total blood count (erythrocytes, leukocytes), physical (hematocritic value), biochemical (hemoglobin, total calcium, inorganic phosphorus, magnesium, general glycosaminoglycans and their fractions, hondroitinsulfaty, oxiprolinum of serum and urine, sialic acid, citric acid), chemiluminescent (osteocalcin), chromatography (vitamins A and E), enzyme immunoassay (25(OH)D3), atomic absorption (mangan, cuprum, cobalt, zinc, iron, lead, Nickel, cadmium), and statistical. Scientific novelity: the thesis provides the theoretical and experimental grounding of relationship between the content of trace elements in soil, feedstuffs and blood of cows with osteodystrophy in the regions lacking in biogenic trace elements. Low content of mobile forms of cobalt, copper and zinc has been found out in the soil. It causes their decreasing in the feeds and blood that negatively effects on metabolism of bone tissue. It has been proved that using of chelate compounds of trace elements in cows feeding leads to the recovery of clinical status, indicators of macro- and trace elements metabolism and stabilizes the markers metabolism content in the connective tissue.Implemented: the results of research are used in educational process at the departments of the higher educational institutions of Ukraine: internal diseases of animals and ckinicl diagnostics Lviv national University of veterinary medicine and biotechnology named S.Z. Gzyckiy; Dnepropetrovsk state agrarian University; therapy and clinical diagnostics, National University of bioresources and nature management of Ukraine; Bila Tserkva national agrarian University; noncommunicable pathology and Parasitology WF NUBNM of Ukraine "Crimean agrotechnological University"of the Department of therapy of Poltava state agrarian Academy; therapy, pharmacology and clinical diagnostics of a name of Professor A.B. Baydevlatova Sumy national agrarian University; internal diseases of animals Lugansk national agrarian University; internal diseases and hygiene of animals Podilsky state agrarian-technical University. Methodical recommendations have been developed, approved and accepted for implementation in practice of veterinary medicine of the NMS of the State Committee of veterinary medicine of Ukraine.
