Kaminska O. Public and political activities of Sidor Holubovych (1873–1938)

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the social and political activities Sidor Holubovych context of social and political life in Galicia end of XIX - the first third of the twentieth century. The object of study is the non-governmental organizations, political parties, institutions, authorities, agencies, editorial offices who worked S. Golubovych. Methodological basis of the principles of objectivity and became general scientific and especially historical methods: logic, abstraction, problem-chronological, descriptive, biographical, historical and comparative. First: in the national historiography undertaken a comprehensive study of the socio-political activities against the backdrop of Holubovych history of Galicia end of XIX - the first quarter of the twentieth century, revealed organizational and political activities of S. Holubovych UNDP and parliamentary work in Vienna prewar period, analyzed its activity in the national movement Galician Ukrainian during the First World War, studied government work during the state-ZUNR; the role Holubovych in consolidating national democratic forces after the liberation struggle.
