Synenkyy V. Military and scientific activity of Ivan Karpynets (1898-1954)

Purpose - to examine the military-political and scientific work of John Karpyntsya in the context of social and political processes in Western Ukraine in the first half of the twentieth century. Object of study - social and political processes and academic life of Ukrainian lands in the first half of the twentieth century. To solve this task, the following methods: analysis, synthesis, logic, problem-chronological, historical and situational comparative methods. Karpyntsya in the first half of the twentieth century, Describes the basic scientific work on the social, economic, and military history of Galicia, revealed little known facts biographies of famous scientists, particularly characterizes his work in times of Ukrainian-Polish war of 1918 - 1919, played an integral picture of scientific work in Karpyntsya I. Shevchenko Scientific Society, the Institute of history of Ukraine USSR, the peculiarities of educational work in the city schools, with specific examples shown fighting AI Karpyntsya by raising national consciousness Ukrainian Galicia, validated and proved an important scientific value of the journalistic heritage Karpyntsya II, emphasized the need to popularize it among the general public.
