Tkachenko S. Actions of the Soviet aircraft in interests of guerrilla formations of the Crimea (1942-1944)

Dissertation is for the degree of candidate of historical sciences, specialty 20.02.22 - military history. - National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyak-hovsky, Kyiv, 2013. The dissertation deals with the Soviet aviation actions in the interests of the Crimean partisan forces during the peninsula occupation in the 1942-1944. The author defines conditions of scientific research topics and describes its source base. Major factors that in-fluenced on aviation actions in the interests of the Crimea partisan movement are identi-fied and analyzed. The author proposed and justified the periodization of Soviet aviation operations in the interests of the partisan movement in the occupied territory of the Crimea and the solved peculiarities of their activities at each stage. The forms, tasks, tactics and methods of action of Soviet aviation and conditions in which they operate are analyzed. The author has identified the trends and characteristics of aviation operations and has gen-eralized flight frequency, specificity and depth of the tasks implemented of the Crimean partisans interests. It was found that during the war significantly changed the composition and role of the aviation groups operated in the interests of Crimea partisan forces and was defined the relationship between the actions of Soviet aviation in the interests of the Cri-mean partisans and deployment similar actions in the interests of the partisan movement in the occupied territory. We have dependence between organizational possibilities and fight-ing actions of Crimean partisans from aviation operations in their interests.
