Holdak T. Theatrical and musical life of Ukrainians of Peremyshl during the second half of XIX and the beginning of XX century

Object: national and cultural processes in Nadsyannya the late nineteenth – early twentieth century. Aim: analyzing the development of Ukrainian theater and musical life in Peremyshl in the context of national and cultural processes of Galicia second half of XIX – early XX century. Methods: historical-genetic, historical-comparative, historical-typological, historical-systematic, synchronous, dichronous, art, biographical. Results: for the first time on the specific examples shows influence of theater and music art that developed in Peremyshl on the rise of national consciousness of Ukrainian of Galicia, touring of theater "Rus’ka Besida" in Peremyshl is reproduced, features of live performances of amateur and professional Ukrainian teams of land are characterized, improved the analysis of activity of theater companies and musical groups of Peremyshl – an important factor of a cultural-creative processes, one of the bastions of national cultural movement of Ukrainians. Scope of application: preparation for generalizing works, textbooks, research-teaching tools on the modern history of Ukraine and Poland.
