Object: training of primary school teachers in higher education, the purpose is scientific substantiation and experimental verification of model preparation of future elementary school teacher for the use of humor in teaching interaction, methods of theoretical, empirical, mathematical statistics, novelty: theoretically developed and experimentally tested model of training of primary school teachers to use humor in teaching interaction, defined and scientific pedagogical conditions conducive to effective training of teachers to use humor in teaching interaction, criteria (intellectual, cognitive, emotional, expressive, reflective and creative) performance and level of future teachers to use humor in teaching interaction (low, medium, productive, creative) improved: the nature of concepts "humor", "pedagogical interaction by means of humor", "willingness of primary school teachers to use humor in teaching interaction"; results: basic provisions can be used in the system of training and retraining of teaching staff in self education of future teachers and primary school teachers to create a scientific and methodological support to the process of training future teachers of primary level education, while developing professionally oriented courses and special seminars, industry: theory and methodology of professional education.
