Voyat L. Psychological and legal principles the officers actions of self-defense

In the thesis the theoretical synthesis and the results of an empirical study of scientific problems is to disclose psychological and legal framework for the use of police measures of self-defense. A comparative analysis of the criminal laws of the countries in respect of such acts and highlighted especially the perception of self-defense institute citizens in modern Ukraine. Proved that self-defense as a criminal phenomenon at present increasingly moving away from the traditional idea of it as self-defense or defense of third parties provided an unexpected attack (according to a study of this category of criminal cases, the defendant and the victim knew each other or met immediately before the incident, and self-defense in all cases preceded the brawl initiated by the victim.
