Kolesnikova E. Nutrient media of hydrolyzates of marine hydrobionts and their efficiency

The results of the carried out researches extend and supplement the current knowledge on use of marine aquatic organisms as nitrogen-containing substances for preparation of bacteriological nutrient media, and make a significant contribution to the modern microbiological practice. For the first time, the feasibility of nutrient media on the basis of mussel hydrolysate and sprat hydrolysate for cultivation of various bacteria and production of veterinary immunobiological preparations is theoretically substantiated and experimentally proved in the thesis, the nitrogen-containing bases of nutrient media obtained from a mixture of hydrolysates of marine aquatic organisms are selected and manufacturing techniques for effective new nutrient media are developed on their basis. Analytical and historical data give evidence of a high biological potential, environmental cleanliness, accessibility, rapid renewal in sufficient quantities, qualitative and quantitative benefits of nutrient media of mussels and sprat hydrolysates in comparison with traditional meat media, what determines broad prospects for use of new raw substances.
