Basina B. Prognosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in patients on stages of observations

Object of study: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Objective: to increase the effectiveness of treatment of COPD patients through the development and implementation of integral system for forecasting of disease. Methods: conventional clinical, questionnaire, laboratory, immunologic, immunoassay, instrumental, math and statistics. Theoretical and practical results: a model predicting the further course of COPD progression was developed for it's use on the stage of initial assessment of the patient. Novelty: integral system of COPD prognosis was designed at different stages of observation and treatment of patients with regard of changes in the levels of markers of systemic inflammation. The efficiency of early inhaled corticosteroids purpose for COPD patients with II stage of the disease under the conditions that they have a high risk of further progression of the disease.
