Essay

The dissertation presents theoretical grounds and solution of an important scientific task - studying of morphogenesiss of tibia in adult rats after implantation of ceramic hydroxyapatite and exposure to electromagnetic fields. Using a complex of morphological methods (osteometry, histomorphometry, biochemical tests, phase X-ray scatter analysis, strength tests and mathematics) we proved that implantation of ceramic hydroxyapatite with particle size of less than 63 µm and irradiation with electromagnetic fields with amplitude of 0.04/0.05 Tl and frequency of 800 kHz results in acceleration of longitudinal growth (well expressed between 25th and 60th days of observation), widening of proximal epiphyseal cartilage mainly due to proliferation and osteogenic zones, widening of osteogenic layer of the shaft and enlargement of osteons as compared to a group with pure implants. Alongside with this biochemical tests and X-ray analysis show increased share of amorphous component in the bone mineral.
