Displaying quantitative and qualitative indicators of labor market USSR in the period, describes the forms and methods of combating unemployment. Deals with the conditions and procedure for granting the financial assistance to the unemployed, their participation in public works and groups of unemployed, at the expense of local budgets kind assistance. Revealed the public policy of the SSR in healthcare sector of workers and employees, analysed the condition of providing the workers medical and sanatorium-preventive help. Found the features of providing the disabled population social assistance and pensions in case of partial or total disability.
