Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of testing Foreign Language communicative competence of secondary school students in the USA. It has been the first pedagogical comparative analysis of the peculiarities of testing Foreign Language communicative competence of secondary school pupils in the USA to be done in the Ukrainian scientific practice. The evolution of testology as a science has been determined. The problem of test preparation and technology of its use for testing Foreign Language communicative competence of secondary school pupils in the USA has been analyzed.
