Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of professional training of social pedagogues to protect the rights of children in Germany. The process of formation and development of professional training of social pedagogues and social workers to legal protection of children in Germany in historical and contemporary terms has been considered. In the result of the study main stages have been defined: 1) establishment and development (early 1910s - late 1920s); 2) indoctrination, decline and regression (early 1930s - mid 1940s); 3) reconstruction (end 1940s - end 1960s); 4) content-organization and structure reformation (early 1970s - to this day).
