Trulyayev R. Positive values and character strengths of the teacher as a factor of students' achievement.

In the dissertation it is theoretically grounded and empirically proved that the positive values of the teacher can be successfully implemented in the educational potential of students to create conditions for enhancing their mental health. Based on the theoretical analysis of the psychological determinants of personal development of students as the subjects of the cognitive activity it is claimed that the personal characteristics of the students can be influenced by the character strengths of their teachers thus facilitating the effectiveness of the educational-cognitive activity of the students. With reference to the achievements of the native and foreign psychologists investigating personality, in particular, positive psychologists the psychological mechanism of the impact of the positive values of the teachers on the cognitive activity of the students is described.
