Object - the process of professional training of students at higher educational institutions of Economics ; aim - to suggest, theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions of self-development competence forming in future bachelors of Economics in the process of their professional training; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the dissertation is the first to provide theoretical substantiation and experimental testing of pedagogical conditions of self-development competence forming in future bachelors of Economics; the pedagogical meaning of self-development competence in future bachelors of Economics as a complex formation reflecting orientation at self-improvement and stressing student's unique importance, his/her moral values, knowledge of modes of one's development and his/her skill of self-diagnostics, of planning and implementing modes of self-development in individual, social and professional space has been defined; modes of organizing out of class activities of future bachelors of Economics have been investigated; results - the pedagogical conditions of self-development competence forming in future bachelors of Economics have undergone experimental testing and can be used by lecturers in the process of professional training of students. Theoretical arguments and practical data of the dissertation and scientific methodological materials on the research can be used in lectures and practical seminars on professionally-oriented disciplines ("Management", "Economics of Enterprise", "International Economics") and Humanities ("Professionally-oriented English", "Pedagogy and Psychology", "Philosophy", "Ethics and Aesthetics", "Culture Studies"); for writing textbooks and teaching manuals ; field - pedagogy.
