Sribna M. Ukrainian Red Cross in the Second World War (1939-1945)

In dissertation for the first time in a domestic historiography the systematization of the functioning historic graphic and archival base of a problem of research is carried out. It is entered into the scientific reference a significant file of unknown before archival materials and documents of Ukrainian Red Cross in the Second World War (1939-1945). The reasons are established on the basis of that directing bodies of the Soviet authority decide to use the Organization of the Red Cross for protection of the state. Tasks in military-defensive activity of a society are determined at the organization of military-sanitary training the population and on the organization of cooperation with Workers'-and-Peasants' Red Army. The positive and negative moments of such activity are determined. Problematic aspects of relationships with the local party leadership, government and the surrounding population were highlighted.
