Gasanova I. The age-related structural features of the choroid plexus of the brain ventricles after parenteral infusions of xenogenic cerebrospinal fluid (anatomical experimental study)

The dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive assessment of the structural features of the choroid plexus of the brain ventricles in rats of different age after parenteral infusions of xenogenic cerebrospinal fluid (XCSF). The study was performed on 96 white Wistar laboratory rats.The morphological (descriptive macroscopic, organometric methods of histo- and cytomorphometry, electromicroscopic method) and statistical methods of data analyses, including two-factor analysis of variative method were used in the study. Ther peculiarities of the morphological changes in the choroid plexus of the brain ventricles after parenteral infusions of XCSF in newborn rats wre characterized by inhibition of the liquor production. Structural organization of the choroid plexus in experimental rats of the immature age after injections of XCSF were characterized by minimal deviations from the control data. In young and presenile animals the increase in the functional activity of the investigated organ was observed.
