Oksyutovych M. Ethnoculture in the Context of Globalization: Socio-philosophical Analysis

Thesis is devoted to the social-philosophical analysis of peculiarity of ethnoculture's development and functions in globalized world. The theoretical interpretations and the basic scientific approaches to the analysis of ethnoculture are viewed; the essence, place and role of it in modern terms is also explored. The most essential imperatives of phenomenon of globalization are revealed, it's influence on the transformation of human ethnoculture existence are explored. The thesis defines such the reasons and mechanisms of formation of Ukrainian peoples ethnoculture in globalized world as territory of residence, blood relationship, language of communication, etc. Thesis founds out the determinants of ethnoculture's function in multicultural society. The basic identity of culture practices in the Ukrainian diasporas space, especially tolerance, mobility, public activity are analyzed. The need for its own national development strategy for Ukraine of savings of ethnocultural diversity and formation a single ethnocultural space of Ukrainian society in the conditions of globalization is grounded. The mechanism of interaction of ethnos with its ethnocultures and state by means of conversions to culture sources and ethnic reference with an appeal to national culture universals is proposed.
