The object of the research is the process of future teachers of biology trainіng; the subject of the research - pedagogical conditions for effective formation of ecological competence of future teachers of biology; the purpose of the research - the theoretical study and experimental verification of effective pedagogical conditions for formation ecological competence of future teachers of biology in the study of natural sciences; methods of the Research - theoretical: analysis of educational, philosophical, psychological and methodological literature, initial contract plans, programs; comparison analysis; empirical - teacher observation, individual interviews, questionnaire, test, pedagogical experiment; statistics: methods of mathematical statistics; scientific novelty of the research: first - founded the essence of concept "ecological competence of future teacher of biology", grounded and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions for formation of ecological competence of future teachers of biology; clarified and specified criteria, indicators and levels of formation of ecological competence of future teachers of biology; developed and implemented in the discipline "Methods of teaching biology in high school" module "Formation of ecological competence of future teachers of biology".
