In the thesis there were investigated peculiarities of public-political and publicistic activity of Vasyl Paneyko within the context of social and political processes of the first third of 20th century. It was characterised the influence of political causes on formation of world-view of famous politician, spotlighted his first steps in public-political life of Galychyna in the beginning of 20th century.It was analysed his editorial and publicisticmasterpiecein "Literature and Science Herald", periodicals "Business" and "Politics". It was researched state-creative and diplomatic activity of V.Paneyko during the Ukrainian National-Democratic revolution on Western Ukrainian lands in 1918-1923 years.
