Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to studying morphogenesis of the skeletal bones in adult rats after implantation of the iron enhanced hydroxyapatite implants into the proximal part of the tibia diaphysis. Using considerable experimental material we performed a complex study of bone morphogene-sis after implantation of hydroxyapatite enhanced with iron into proximal portion of tibia. Using modern morphological research methods (osteometry, histimorphometry, biochemical analysis, phase X-ray scatter analysis, bio-mechanical testing and mathematics) we obtained new data on bone growth, tissue structure, chemical and phase contents of bone mineral and strength features of skeletal bones after implantation of the copper enhanced hydroxyapatite implants into proximal portion of tibial diaphysis. For the first time we described changes in ultrastructure of bone mineral under effect of copper enhanced implants. We also proved that copper enhanced implants are suitable for correction of adverse reaction of bones after defects filling with hydroxyapatite.
