The thesis investigates integrated the foreign-language teacher training at higher pedagogical schools in Ukraine along sec. part of the 20th beg. of the 21th Centuries; opens sources and factors of the foreign-language teacher training, marks out stages (1950 - 1963; 1964 - 1991; 1991 - 2011) and characterizes activity tendencies of the pedagogical higher schools in this direction; proves scientific-methodological bases of content in foreign-language teacher training at higher pedagogical schools in Ukraine; outlines the long-range directions of the foreign-language teacher training at higher pedagogical schools in Ukraine in context of Bologna declaration.
