Essay

Thesis deals with the scientific and practical tasks aimed at reducing emissions and fuel consumption of passenger cars with carburettor feed system by replacing them with modern systems, in particular electronic injection petrol distributed systems with feedback coupling and waste gases neutralization system. To determine the expedience of such replacement the research of both engine and vehicle with carburettor feed system, and petrol injection system with feedback coupling and three-component catalytic converter was carried. Fuel-economic, environmental and energy characteristics of the engine and the vehicle were defined during both the benchmark and road tests, and the analysis of mathematical model.
