The thesis deals with the theoretical and practical problems of the organization of the prosecutor activity in providing compensation of damage, inflicted by criminal offence. Issues related to the legal nature of the prosecutor activity in providing compensation of damage, inflicted by criminal offence, are thoroughly examined, and the features of the organization of such activity on the different levels of the prosecution and the ways of improvement are grounded. Changes and adding to the current legislation of Ukraine and departmental orders of the Prosecutor general of Ukraine are proposed.
