Essay

The thesis analyzes a certain state of problem research concerning formation of key competencies in vocational pedagogy. Basic concepts of the study are considered. The model as to formation of key competencies of restaurant service specialists-to-be at higher vocational schools is theoretically grounded, their pedagogical conditions are revealed, the author's methodology regarding formation of the key competencies is developed and experimentally verified. The author establishes main criteria and indicators for evaluation of levels of catering service specialists-to-be key competencies. An educational and methodical complex as to formation of key competencies of restaurant service specialists-to-be at higher vocational schools is designed and implemented.
