Essay

The author has identified the definition of local blogosphere and indicates its place among the leading typologies of Ukrainian web pages. The thesis has proposed structural and functional view of the specificity of blogs. Content-analysis of materials from local and centralized blogs also has been conducted. The research proved that the local blogosphere shows much more subject characteristics (thematic, intonation, stylistic, genre etc.) than the popular one, evolving as the specific environment of mass polylogue.
