Melnichuk L. Functioning the local government of occupation administration Reichskommissariat "Ukraine" (1941 - 1944 years).

On the basis using large array of diverse sources described the process of creation and functioning of local government CGS. The work is the first comprehensive study of the historiography of the subject, in which disclosed the specific steps and guidelines leadership of the Third Reich, occupation administration CGS in the establishment and operation of local government, represented by regional, urban and rural councils. In the dissertation the place and role of local government in achieving the goals and objectives of the Nazi occupation policy in the Ukraine, and the methodological approach made it possible to interpret the events examined in the light of the relative administrative autonomy of local government institutions CGS. The result of the thesis research was to study the main areas of Nazi policies on the territory of the CGS and the legal basis for the functioning of the local administration of the occupation.
