A wide range of problems of human-geographical complex transformation in the region and their connection with environmental situation are considered. The factors of environmental problems in the human-geographical complex are characterized. The analysis is done of demo-social structure of population, settlement system and transformation of social and economic complex in the region. The ranking of environmental problems and the analysis of geographical components affecting environmental problems in Lviv Oblast are done. Human-environmental regionalisation of Lviv Oblast is done.
