The thesis contains the results of theoretical and experimental investigation of the formation of informational and communicational competence of Bachelors of Philology, namely, the study analyzes the status of selected problems in educational theory and practice; levels of informational and communicational competence of Bachelors of Philology are defined (reproductive, productive and creative); the current state of formation of informational and communicational competence of Bachelors of Philology is revealed; the relevance and appropriateness of the investigated problem are confirmed; structure of informational and communicational competence of Bachelor of Philology (informational, informative and communicational components) are proved; the criteria of formation of informational and communicational competence of Bachelors of Philology are defined; its contents are revealed; content, forms and methods of generating of informational and communicational competence of Bachelors of Philology are selected; teaching materials on the formation of informational and communicational competence of Bachelors of Philology are developed; the effectiveness of the implementation of selected content, forms and methods of generating informational and communicational competence of Bachelors of Philology is experimentally verified.
