The object comprises social and political, cultural and educational processes that were taking place in Eastern Galicia in the second part ХІХ - at the begining of ХХ century. The purpose is to analyze the activity of "Association named after M. Kachkovsky" Eastern Galicia in the study period. The practical significance consists in expanding scientific knowledge about the activities of "Association named after M. Kachkovsky" in Eastern Galicia in the second part ХІХ - at the begining of ХХ century. The methods include dialectical method, synthesis and analysis, generalization, historical and comparative, problem-chronological method and content analysis.
