Kava A. Pedagogical activities and heritage of V.I. Hartsiyev (1866 - 1937)

The Dissertation research is the first complex analysis of Vasily Ivanovich Hartsiyev’s (1866-1937) ideas and social – educational activity. In the research it is carried out the main reasons of forming his social position and developing process of the pedagogue’s personality. It is pointed out the stages of professional and scientific activity of the chosen personality. It is analysed the pedagogical, educational, scientific, social activities of this educator and innovator, humanist, director of the school, teacher, linguist, prominent figure of culture and education – Vasily Ivanovich Hartsiyev, who is characterized by forming his ideological positions. It is analyzed and summarised the features of organizational, educational, scientific and technical work of the teacher and the practical experience of its author's activities at school - Elisavetgrad Public Commercial School.
