Essay

The comprehensive retrospective analysis of pedagogical and cultural-educational activities of M. Korduba has been done in the thesis. Possibility and expedience of study the problem of pedagogical and cultural-education work of the historian in the context of the development of the Ukrainian educational movement of the first third of the 20-th century has been noted. Teaching and educational work of the scientist in Bukovyna has been researched. The historian's participation in Ukrainian pedagogical life of the interwar period, as well as in the years of the Second World War and post-war time has been reconstructed.
