Essay

The object of studies is the process of encouraging self improvement among early childhood education workers (the second half of the 20th century.); the subject of studies is encouraging self improvement among early childhood education workers in the referred period both in theory and in practice; the purpose of studies is to define the theoretical ideas and summarise the experience in encouraging self improvement among early childhood education workers during the second half of the 20th century based on the holistic historical and pedagogical analysis in order to apply pedagogically valuable forms and methods of encouraging employees specialized in childhood education at the modern stage; methods: a) analysis, synthesis, comparison, classification, generalisation, modeling - to determine the theoretic and methodological cornerstones and the special aspects of encouraging self improvement among early childhood education workers; b)concept and terminology analysis - to determine the essence of the basic concepts of the study; c)monographic and sampling methods- to define an array of primary sources; d) inductive, deductive, genetic, chronological, and comparative methods - for the array of primary sources results' analysisand to determine the stages of the system of encouraging self improvement among early childhood education workers during the second half of the 20th century; e) comparative historical method- to define the special features of the system of encouraging self improvement among early childhood education workers in the said period; scientific novelty of the dissertation lies in the facts that the author: for the first time ever defined the contribution by leading scientists in the establishment and development of childhood education workers' encouragement system in the second half of the 20th century; established social, political and economic perquisites of the national system of encouraging self improvement among early childhood education workers formation; defined the specific features encouragement system in the referred period; defined and described the key tendencies, forms and methods in encouraging self improvement among early childhood education workers at the specified period; scientifically established the stages of development of childhood education workers' encouragement system in the second half of the 20th century which are as follows: 1950 - 1965 - the stage of intensive development of forms and methods of moral encouragement of self improvement among early childhood education workers, 1966 - 1985- the stage of development of forms of professional encouragement of self improvement; 1986 - 90s of the 20th century- the stage of the extensive use of material incentives as encouragement of self improvement; revealed the prospects of applying pedagogically valuable ideas and past experience in modern preschoolfacilities; refined methodological bases of research of the theory and practice of childhood education workers' encouragement system in the second half of the 20th century; further developed the knowledge about forms and methods of encouraging self improvement among early childhood education workers.
