Essay

The thesis is devoted to a cultural-creative potential of Ukrainian porcelain and describing its originality. For the first time in Ukrainian art history examines the attempt to distinguish and analyze the main phase formation phenomenon Ukrainian porcelain in broad chronological framework; analyze of the spheres of functioning porcelain within the Ukrainian reality; "museum geography" of domestic porcelain of the 19th century, which made it possible conclude sufficient for the actualization the prevalence Ukrainian porcelain of the 19th century in the domestic museum space. The thesis specifies the presence of similarities between domestic and foreign porcelain art. It was shown that the Far Eastern and European porcelain traditions have different mechanisms of realization the cultural-creative potential. The thesis proved that Ukrainian porcelain, being part of the pan-European tradition of porcelain production, at a deep level has separate tangent point of the primary (Far East) nature of porcelain. It is positioned as a specific phenomenon which, on the one hand, indicates the completion of the classical stage of European porcelain production, the other - the mixing eastern and western experience - represents a unique synthetic version of porcelain tradition.
