The object - process of ensuring the state economic security on the basis of an innovative model of economic development; the goal - substantiation theoretical positions and elaboration methodological and practical recommendations for the ensuring the economic security of Ukraine on the basis of an innovative model of economic development; methods - theoretical generalization, system-structural analysis, economic and statistical and factor analysis, comparison, clustering, trend analysis, extrapolation, expert opinions; novelty - scientific approach to the definition of strategic guidelines to ensure the economic security of the state and development of organizational-economic mechanism of implementation based on the introduction of an innovative model of economic development; the classification approaches, criteria and features selection system and further accumulated threats that protrude as catalysts of a number of other threats to Ukraine's economic security of all components and form a systemic impact on the economy has improved; the concept of "innovation model of economic development," which, from the perspective of a strategic approach, is proposed as a system of optimal organizational, economic, administrative processes has improved; results - current trends of formation the economic security of Ukraine have been analyzed, conceptual basis of forming the innovation model of economic development have been done, scientific approach to defining strategic guidelines ensuring the economic security and development of organizational-economic mechanism of their implementation has been proposed; industry - the economic security of the state (economic sciences).
