The theoretical and practical questions of development of psychological concepts of young people professional orientation for service in organs of internal affairs of Ukraine are considered in this research. The present approaches to professional orientation are analysed. The new system of optimization of all stages of professional orientation work with candidates to serve in the organs of internal affairs of Ukraine system is worked out. Statements from dissertation are used to solve the problems of practical realization of development of psychological preparedness of candidates to serve in the organs of internal affairs of Ukraine during their professional selection and psychological accompaniment.
