Essay

The thesis is focused on systematic research of the problem of the inhabitants' social welfare in Kyiv during 1943 - 1945. This issue is researched through the optic of the comprehensive analysis of wide range of sources and scientific literature. The state, restoration and use of city's residential properties are researched in the thesis. On the other hand the problem of living conditions in Kyiv dwelling is revealed as well as the state of needs satisfaction of Kyivans in terms of grocery and manufactured goods. The peculiarity of Kyiv inhabitants' nutrition at home and in public caterings and the level of satisfaction in consumer services are also researched.
