Chernyshova M. Problems of modern family education in Ukraine and the USA: comparative analyses.

The object: traditions, contents and forms of family education in Ukraine and the USA in historical aspect; aim: to justify peculiarities and laws of the contents of family education in Ukraine and the USA; methods: theoretical, empirical, prognostical; novelty: for the first time in historical aspect entire analyses of theory and practice of the development of family education in Ukraine and the USA is given; periods of the development of the family institute and family education in Ukraine (9 periods - from prechristian up to now) and the USA (6 periods - from colonial up to now) are singled out and characterised, also comparative analyses of historical development and integral parts of the system of family education of the two states are given. The results of the thesis research can be used in the educational process of pedagogical higher educational institutions in the preparation of work plans for preschool institutions to develop courses of improvement of the national system of family education.
