Essay

The thesis is devoted to the epizootological monitoring of highly pathogenic avian influenza and avian infectious laryngotracheitis in AR Crimea, isolation and studying biological properties of their agents. The epizootological monitoring and analysis of epizootic situation of highly pathogenic avian influenza in AR Crimea are carried out. Based on this, disease rate and epizootic process intensity are determined for the first time. Four isolates of highly pathogenic avian influenza virus of subtype H5N1 are isolated. Their biological properties are studied in duck and turkey embryos for the first time. As a result of epizootic monitoring of infectious laryngotracheitis epizootic agent of this disease is isolated for the first time. Its basic biological properties are studied. The culture method for highly pathogenic avian influenza virus in chicken embryos at incubation temperature 33 °C is proposed for the first time. This method ensures an obtaining of more quality viral mass for vaccine production. The influence of maternal antibodies on the reproduction of highly pathogenic avian influenza virus in chicken embryos is determined. This proves importance and necessity of production and using of vaccines against this disease. The expediency of permanent control of epizootic situation of avian influenza by epizootological monitoring based on the test of blood serum and egg yolks from poultry is grounded.
