Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the increasing of the efficiency of vacuum sewer system for small communities. The design method of vacuum transportation of gas-liquid mixture into inclined pipelines was developed and the impact of key factors to this process was defined. For the first time the structure of the flow of gas-liquid mixture was determined and regimes of liquid-to-air mixture in a vacuum transportation were identified. The mathematical model for calculating of the vacuum pressure losses in the pipe section was suggested, including the influence of the length and mode of motion of each unit with a different structure of the flow.
