In the dissertation presents a theoretical generalization and a new solu-tion of a scientific problem - the determination of the morphofunctional features of the epiphysis and the intermediate of the pituitary under long term exposure of nitrates and the proposed method of its correction with using a methylene blue. It is proven the dependence of the structural and functional changes in the system of epiphysis the intermediate lobe of the pituitary from the duration of receipts of nitrates in animals' organism. The paper presents new data ultrastructural rearrangements of pineal cells of epiphysis and the melanotropin of intermediate lobe of the pituitary under long term exposure of nitrates of different age group animals. Determined and experimentally proved the effectiveness of methylene blue as correc-tional way, which prevents the cytotoxic action of nitrates and prevents the development of negative morph functional changes in the system of epiphysis - the intermediate lobe of the pituitary.
