Essay

The thesis is devoted to influence of congenital sensorineural hearing loss on immune system and the adrenal glands activity among children of primary school age. Based on the results, it is estimated that increased urinary epinephrine and corticosteroids are observed among children of primary school age with chronic sensorineural hearing loss. Under these conditions their active effect on immune cells with subsequent production of interleukins takes place, and leads to the dominance of T-helper cells of the second type. Production of this cells population of corresponding interleukins activates B lymphocytes and their conversion into plasma cells - the active immunoglobulin producers. Thus weakening of non-specific immunity with increased activity of humoral type of immune response takes place among children with chronic sensorineural hearing loss, which is a state of hypoergic inflammation.
