Object - the process of professional psychological and pedagogical preparedness of future engineers during the high school education; Goal - theoretically justify, develop and check experimentally pedagogical conditions of future engineer's readiness for professional and personal self-development formation during the process of psychological and pedagogical disciplines learning; Methods - philosophical, pedagogical, psychological literature review and analyze, comparison and generalization, pedagogical experiment, questioning, testing, expert interviews, talks, pedagogical observation, mathematical statistics; novelty - for the first time pedagogical conditions of future engineers' readiness to professional and personal self-development formation are theoretically motivated, developed and experimentally tested, the essence of the concept "Readiness for professional and personal self-development of future engineers" is refined also criteria and indicators of future engineers' readiness for professional and personal self-development formation: motivational and valuational, reflexive and evaluative, integrative and cognitive; results - developed pedagogical conditions of formation of future engineers' readiness for professional and personal self-development and a set of innovative forms and methods for their effective implementation; introduced into the educational processes of the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture im. P.M. Vasilenko, Kharkiv Automobile and Highway University, Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy; branch of science - professional pedagogy.
