Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of means of assessment expression in modern Russian newspaper texts in the linguo-pragmatic aspect. It is proved in the study that assessment is one of the brightest features of the pragmatic meaning, dynamically performed in the media texts, that can meet the various needs of the modern society. Dynamic functioning of the assessment means is determined by different factors: censorship removing, speech liberalization and strengthening of the personal factor in it. Assessment of the media texts determines the existence of the special word-building formation, lexical, phraseological, syntactic means for assessment implementation.
