Object of study - press of Moskvophile movement as a phenomenon of Ukrainian history. Purpose - to find out the main ideological and conceptual principles of functioning of the press to a Moskvophile various stages of its existence, the study of its structure and evolution. Methods: Bibliographic descriptive, modeling, problem-thematic, comparative  analytical, comparative historical, diachronic, systematic, structural functional, system-genetic, social communication approach.For the first time the thesis covers a complex research of the press of the Moskvophile movement in Eastern Galicia 1900-1939 - a long and complex historical period. The main ideological and political principles of operating of the press, especially its structure, determined periods of its operating are clarified. Based on the analysis of publications in the press of Moskvophile movement and relevant publications of Ukrainian and foreign press evolution of the Moskvophile movement and its press are researched, the role of the press in the national context was clarified. The fundamental difference between the meaning of "moskvophilstvo" and "russophilism", "radyanofilstvo" and "political orientation" is cleared up. The thesis confirms the relevance of the research of the Ukrainian press history in all its aspects. Sphere-learning process.
