Essay

The thesis deals with the detection of topographic-anatomical peculiarities of the rectum in the perinatal period of human ontogenesis. The shapes and peculiarities of rectal macrostructure in the perinatal period are detected which is the basis to define its typical and variant anatomy. Classical evidence concerning the shape, topography and skeletotopy of the rectum on the stages of its perinatal period of ontogenesis is specified. The variants of the arterial vessels supplying supra-ampullary portion and the ampoule of the rectum are studied. The correlation interrelations of the rectal organometric parameters with the size of the pelvis and parietocalcaneal length are examined which is the basis to detect morphological maturation of the structures studied. The application of the method of multifactoral regressive analysis of the rectal parameters enabled to substantiate the stages of its perinatal development.
