Skryabin A. Students training in military schools and cadet corps in the territory of Ukraine (1865-1917)

Dissertation to get the degree of Candidate of sciences (History), specialty 20.02.22 - Military History. - National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovsky, Kyiv, 2014. In dissertation on the research basis the organization and content of military gymnasiums and cadet corps activity (concerning the students preparation for continuation the professional training in military schools) in the territory of Ukraine are revealed by the author in the dissertation. The main factors and their influence on the military training of the students from military gymnasiums and cadet corps are determined. On the basis of detailed scientific analysis of the specifics of military gymnasium and cadet periods of the history of elementary military education development in the Ukrainian territory are shown. The content of education process of the elementary military schools is revealed. And the education, military and professional components are analyzed. The process of organization of the military training in the military gymnasiums and cadet corps is investigated. The specifics of such military training are determined. According to the research findings, theoretical results and generalized, the practical recommendations to consider in the future the gained experience are given.
