Object of study: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in patients who have past pulmonary tuberculosis. Objective: define the role of osteoprotegerin-dependent disba-ance cytokine homeostasis and fibrinolysis system in the progression of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in patients who have past pulmonary tuberculosis, and to evaluate the effectiveness of its correction of urinary type plasminogen activator and lipoflavon. Methods: clinical, research methods of respiratory function, biochemical. Theoretical and practical results: The features of osteoprotegerin-dependent progression of cytokine imbalance of homeostasis and disorders of the functional activity of the bronchial epithelium were decrypted. Method of decrease of proinflammatory cytokine IL-1beta and osteoprotegerin level was developed. It is the combined use of the course of the beta2-agonist and anticholinergic medication (berodual) and inhalation course of urokinase and lipoflavon. Novelty: The method of complex application of the basic COPD treatment (beta2-agonist and anticholinergic medication - berodual) and of urokinase and lipoflavon inhalation to correct regional cytokine imbalance of homeostasis and improvement of respiratory function, was developed. The degree of implementation: articles, theses. Scope of application: medicine.
